› Polar FT80 rewarded with iF product design award
Friday, January 23, 2009 Polar has won the coveted iF product design award 2009 in the Leisure/Lifestyle category with the dashing Polar FT80. iF organizes one of the most recognized international product design award competitions which every year attracts more than 2,000 product entries from over 35 nations, making it one of the world’s key design competitions. Only the best products receive an iF seal of outstanding design quality which remains valid for the entire product lifecycle.This year the iF product design award took place for the 55th time and the international jury of experts selected, with a watchful eye on the demands of good design, the winning products from around 2,800 entries originating from 39 different countries. The exhibition for prizewinners of an iF product design award is staged at the Hannover Exhibition Center, presenting a fascinating compendium of contemporary design achievements. The iF exhibition runs from March to August, reaching almost 300,000 international visitors and informing the public on the latest trends in design. From the end of January, all prizewinners will additionally appear at the iF online exhibition on the iF website.
