Well, my Polar is sort of my life. (Don't tell my friends, they'll think I'm crazy!) It helps me set goals, like my first marathon in Bonn, Germany a few weeks ago! And it will hopefully help me through my first Ironman this year. I love watching the days count down until the next event! I'm always training according to my heart rate and have found it's the best and most effective way to train. My polar lets me know when I'm tired or have been eating a bit too much sugar before training!I was diagnosed with MS last year, two days before my first half Ironman. I just thought my arms were tried from too much swimming. I hope to be a role model for my friends and colleagues that aren't that motivated to get up and do sports. Anyone can get in shape if you just get out there and listen to your body!You never know what you can do until you try! Laura
