I was diagnosed as metabolic syndorome (basically overweight with excessive fat) in spring of 2009. I tried workout such as aerobics without dramatic improvement. Since I began to use FT80 in March 2010, I have lost 7kg (neary 10%)in 8 months and overcame the metabolic syndorome. What helped me most was the Star Training Program, which makes appropriate weekly training program. In the begining it started with 2600kcal a week, then the target increased gradually to 4200kcal a week now, as my VO2Max increased from 47 to 55 over the period.In order to meet the increased target, I gradually added new workout like running and bicycling to my regular aerobics dancing. I appreciate the Star Program as it lets me do right amount and strength of workout without making me exausted. It is also good for my mental health, as I can constantly feel the sense of achievement. It does record every effort that I made and rewards me with the right comment. It is good for my mental health to know that Polar watch is always with me and knows what I do and rewards my efforts fairly.The program also made me to try new sports to fullfill the new target. My recent endeavor to run new places like parks, seasides, trail course, gave me new life experience. Now I'm targeting to run Tokyo Marathon in February 2011. I'm looking forward to losing another 3-5kg by the event to enjoy my first marathon race. I know I'm on the right track both in my phisical and mental condition through controled workout with Polar watch.
