I mountain bike about 3-4 times a week but also do other forms of exercise including gymwork, BMX riding, trail building and the occasional run.5 years ago I spent a some time deciding whether to buy a S625X, I eventually did and never looked back. My initial worry was that I would not use it or gain benefit from such a piece of training kit. I can safely say my worries were unfounded. I now use it religiously as a log of every exercise I do, even if just going for a walk in the hills. I upload everything to the PC and monitor the amount of exercise I am doing along with the distance and speed over time. If I feel I have done a particularly hard ride it shows and I have established so much to guide my training to an optimum level. I recently had a health and fitness check and the results showed for my age group I was well above average in every category - shows the exercise guided my my HRM is paying off. I love my Polar.
