Was an avid road cyclist years back. I had moved away from cycling, because of work requirements and having had my good bike damaged and sold.I have been watching my food and everything else, for years but exercise to improve my health, and really needed to make the last step back to better health, and with a knee that has given problems in the past, cycling was my way back into intense aerobic exercise. I purchased a CS200CAD the first week of August 2010, and started riding a Motobecame 600DS that was several years old. To date, I have ridden 9 times (approximately every other day, with a 4 day stop once) and 136 miles traveled, and lost 4 pounds and improved heart rate during the sessions from an average of 158 BPM to 142 BPM. I'm 60 and in reasonable good shape otherwise, but need to get about 15 pounds off my body. I'm on the way and will get there at a gradual rate so it stays off. And my Polar Heart rate monitor is a big part of the effort. It really let's you know where you need to be for the most efficient exercise available in the shortest time. Well done Polar! An excellent product all around and I will probably have at least another monitor in the near future for my wife. And a third for my son.I'm a technical person, and like to know a bit more data to get something done, whether it is work related, hobby related, or health related. The CS200CAD, for me provides what I want. As I continue to ride I may want some different screens. but the Polar products will easily give anyone all the information they want, and do it in such a way that is easy to understand.
