Polar Cardio GX software is specifically designed for group exercise in clubs, and it is the key to the Cardio GX system.
Sign-up for session
Club member’s sign-up for a session couldn’t be any easier. They just put on the comfortable textile transmitters, on instructor’s laptop, click the same number they have on their transmitter and insert their nickname and maximum heart rate or age in order to set individual training zones. Then everything’s set for the group exercise class and club members can follow their heart rate from the screen.
Instructor settings
Instructor settings are just as easy: choose the right session, insert your name and maximum heart rate or your age, and select whether you want your heart rate highlighted on the screen or not. After this, the group exercise class is ready to start.
Session
Polar Cardio GX provides you with all the necessary features for monitoring real-time heart rate information in grid view on the screen and laptop during the session. And after the class, club members will receive a graphical training summary, telling how they performed with their average heart rate and time spent on different training zones. Cardio GX can display up to 28 heart rates simultaneously per base station, providing training load monitoring for both the instructor and club members. Base stations can be linked together, raising the maximum number of simultaneous heart rates up to 84.
Software administration
Polar Cardio GX is easy to install with CD tutorial and PC software setup wizard. The software includes session and system properties where you can modify their settings. You can add settings for all different kinds of group exercise classes your club is offering and adjust their intensity levels. The best part is that you have to establish these settings just once when you install the software and enter your session and system properties. Polar Cardio GX allows you to manage the system from base station to the transmitters and it also handles the advertisements displayed on the screen during the sessions. Cardio GX software includes support for English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.
